DLB Trading Company’s initial product offering was jewelry using the Tibetan “dZi” bead (pronounced “Zee”}. DLB Trading Company’s founder introduction to “zDi” beads was when working with U.S. high technology companies in Asia managing global procurement and manufacturing operations. He was intrigued with the history and richness of the “dZi” bead coloring and distinctive markings which he purchased for his granddaughters and friends. Today the company designs and manufactures over 200 different styles of earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings and matching sets integrating the “dZi” bead with complimentary stones and materials. We are pleased to introduce a line of religious jewelry products for our customers. We have developed a beautiful selection of neckleces, bracelets, earrings and rosaries utilizing various of stone, ceramic, cowbone and wood materials. Religious jewelry is designed and assembled in our manufacturing facility.

DLB Trading continues to introduce new innovative jewelry. What better than stylish functional eye glass holders integrating colorful crystal, glass, stones, beads and other materials. But why stop there. The eye glass holder is wonderful jewelry so why not provide an intra-connecting locking device (which we do) so the eye glass holder can also be used as a necklace.

With few exceptions, most everyone in the workplace today is required to wear personal identification badges. We now offer beautifully designed lanyard jewelry which is attractive and functional. DLB Trading also makes identification jewelry where the badge may be temporarily detached from the lanyard to “wand” the badge for computer verification.

Lisa combines many years of creative jewelry design integrating innovative assembly techniques and exquisite materials to present jewelry which can be best described as elegant in concept and presentation. Lisa Collection jewelry is manufactured in our facilities in limited quantities not exceeding 20 pieces. The jewelry comes in a company labeled gift box to showcase the product. A personalized Lisa Collection printed card is also enclosed within the gift box.

DLB Trading has a business partnership with a company to manufacture our specialized Netsuke wood carving products. Each product is 100% hand carved and demonstrates the expertise of the wood craftsman to create truly beautiful carvings. No carvings are exactly the same. In today’s world most products are mass produced using synthetic materials such as plastic, glass or ceramic. It’s wonderful to find product coupling the ageless tradition of the true craftsperson to produce timeless wearable jewelry and show pieces. You will enjoy the intricate workmanship, the touch and feel of these highly polished wood cravings.

Many of the Netsuke wood products are developed by our design groups. These products are representative of items of interest such as crosses, happy face, eagles, animals, peace signs, etc. We also coordinate special requests from customers for individual design or reproduction. The primary wood used in our carvings is ironwood. It is one of the heaviest woods known to man and will not float in water resulting from its density. Because of this distinct characteristic, ironwood is very popular, rare, expensive and difficult to obtain in quantities. Carvings using ironwood are extremely difficult to work with and requires a master’s touch to achieve the desired result. With minimal care, wood carvings from ironwood will last a lifetime.

Have you heard the saying “This is the year of the Dragon (or another animal name)”? This was derived from the Chinese lunar year where centuries ago the Chinese established their calendar with different animal successive years named after twelve animals. (Refer to the chart below indicating the twelve animals and corresponding years). Our design center have developed a jewelry line of bracelets, earrings and necklaces representing each of the twelve animals.
